Our Commitment
We are passionate about learning everything related to this breed. As an ongoing process: taking advantage of various educational opportunities offered by the American Kennel Club, followed by our experience with this breed, combined with educational courses on critical areas such as effective breeding strategies, the health and wellness of Pomeranians, and the standards for canine structure set by the AKC we can meet our goals. To meet our goals, we compete in conformation events, demonstrating our dogs' structural qualities in the AKC ring. We are committed to breeding only those dogs that are DNA genetic tested and are structurally sound and possess excellent temperaments.
Our Philosophy
Our program is committed to preserving the breed standard we cherish while focusing on improvement, producing dogs that exemplify both beauty and soundness, alongside exceptional temperaments. We believe a strong relationship between a breeder and the buyer is of utmost importance for the lifetime well-being of the puppies we produce. Additionally, by purchasing one of our puppies, we believe you become an essential link to helping us better our breed for future generations by providing critical feedback for us to breed puppies who are even better than their parents. Ultimately, our objective is to raise happy, healthy puppies that will excel in the show ring or serve as wonderful family companions!
Our Breeding Approach
Our breeding philosophy combines the art of selection with the science of genetics to produce puppies that are healthy, sound, and visually appealing. We conduct thorough pedigree analysis well in advance of potential matings, paying attention to the coefficient of inbreeding (COI) and its implications for future litters. We prioritize the preservation of both the male-tail and female-tail lines, which carry distinctive genetic traits. By avoiding popular sire syndrome and maintaining a balanced number of sires and dams, we promote genetic diversity and lay a stable foundation for enhancing future generations, resulting in dogs that are healthy, sound, and exhibit consistent, predictable traits. Our primary purpose when we plan a litter is to advance the bloodline and improve our great breed – The AKC Pomeranian.
